Volunteer in Africa is an organization dedicated to disseminating information on voluntary work programs in Africa and organizing a wide range of volunteering and internship-volunteering programs in Ghana.
Our overseas placements we offer in Ghana includes volunteering at orphanages, street children programs, HIV/AIDS education, schools, health care institutions, conservation, Churches and Christian Religion, computer training projects, Media and Journalism, Law, Sports, marketing and many others.
Volunteers in our program in Ghana work alongside local workers and professionals. Internship-volunteers do shadow, observe and assist local professionals in their work. People without special skills, professional qualifications or previous experience also volunteer in most of our programs in Ghana apart from the health care and a few other programs. People with ages from 16 to 60 and are of any religion, race or nationality are accepted to volunteer. Participants stay with carefully selected, respectable host families. Period of participation is for short and medium term basis.
As a part of your visit to Ghana we offers you the opportunity to travel and tour around the country absolutely free of charge for up to 6 days if you are a group of 6 or more friends or family members arriving in Ghana on a same date and participating in our volunteering programs in Ghana.
Our work promotes international co-operation, friendship, cross-cultural exposure, cultural exchange, peace, understanding, solidarity and breaks new grounds for sustainable socio-economic development through voluntary work placements.
